About

The Futurepath National Summit is an opportunity for rising-generation family members in their 20s and 30s to meet peers in person for skill-building and meaningful conversations about the opportunities and complexities of inherited family legacies, expectations, and financial wealth. We will begin with a reception and dinner to connect and get to know one another, followed by a day of interactive sessions from breakfast through early afternoon. We’ll take time to look within and look outward.
Your Preferred Life

Your Preferred Life

In families, one of the most important developmental tasks is defining what a meaningful life looks like on your own terms – in the context of your family’s shared dreams. We will explore how individuals can thoughtfully articulate a vision for their preferred life - grounded in values, purpose, and personal agency rather than external expectations.

Together, we will consider questions such as:

What does a life well-lived mean to you?

How do your values and aspirations shape the decisions you make?

Where might greater intentionality help you align your resources and opportunities with the life you want to build?

Your Family Systems

Your Family Systems

Every family functions as a system, with established dynamics, roles, expectations, and patterns that shape how family members relate to one another and participate in the broader family enterprise. We will examine how family systems influence identity, decision-making, and leadership across generations.

We will explore:

How has your family system shaped your sense of role and responsibility?

Where do family expectations support or challenge your individual development?

What roles can you play within the system to co-author the family’s direction while maintaining authenticity and personal agency?

The World Around You

The World Around You

For many, a life of purpose extends beyond stewardship of family assets and includes being intentional about how we show up in our communities and what we are doing to shape a world we want. We will explore the impact you hope to have in the world and how to continually align your influence with your values, interests, and resources.

We will discuss:

What issues or opportunities call for your attention and engagement?

How do you define meaningful contribution and responsible stewardship?

In what ways can your influence be deployed thoughtfully and effectively beyond the family system?
